Monday 4 December from 4:00 pm onwards!!!!

If you’re in town, maybe staying over after the Parade, or missed the Parade for any reason, but enjoy a get together, come and join with friends for the Club’s last Melbourne event for the year; the Christmas BBQ.   No prizes, no fees, just a BBQ and a few laughs.

It’s BYO Everything!

We watch the rowers row past, the runners run past, and just when we are all nearly totally exhausted from watching all that, we watch the fitness instructor giving the clients a workout.   But if you are not into exercise, you can just relax.  We enjoy a BBQ and a few drinks and that is as formal as it gets.

How to get there by public transport:

From the City:     

At corner Collins and Swanston Streets, catch an east bound number 48 tram to stop 23 at Hawthorn Bridge.  It is about a 25 minute trip.  After alighting from the tram, walk down to the park which is between Creswick Street and the eastern side of the river between..

From the Recommended Hotel:

Walk to St. Kilda Road and catch a north travelling tram to the corner of Collins Street and Swanston Streets in the city, then alight and catch an east bound number 48 tram to stop 23 at Hawthorn Bridge.  It is about a 40 minute trip.  After alighting from the tram, walk down to the park which is between Creswick Street and the eastern side of the river between.
