Summer Run - A Day at the Races

Come join in for a beautiful drive to the scenic Yarra Valley for a day at the races. Shades of Pink race day is fantastic way to enjoy the final days of summer racing in the picturesque Yarra Valley. Join us for a day where fun meets philanthropy and make a meaningful difference. Yarra Valley Racing partners with Eastern Health to benefit the Breast Cancer Centre at Maroondah Hospital. Dress up or dress casually, the day is about taking our wonderful cars on a scenic drive & enjoying each other’s company.
Meet at Beasley’s Nursery & Tea House, Warrandyte

Have breakfast and a morning cuppa or just stroll around and enjoy the wonderful nursery
Start time: 9:45am or earlier for a 10:30am departure.
Enjoy a fabulous drive through the picturesque countryside as we make our way to Yarra Valley Racecourse arriving at 11.30am

On arrival the cars will be parked in a safe reserved area within the grounds for display. An area of tables & umbrellas will be allocated for club members on the front straight where all the days racing action takes place.
Cost: FREE entry to club members (partner & family)
Just bring your cars, yourselves & a picnic if you wish. There are many food options on sight catering for all budgets & preferences. Strictly no alcohol is to be brought in, however there is an abundance of alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages available to purchase on the day. By all means bring a picnic rug or chairs if you wish to sit amongst the canopies of the beautiful trees or lush lawns on the grounds.
Racing commences at approximately 1pm and the last race is at 5pm. If you need to leave early, you will be escorted out of the grounds by a club member for safety.
For members bringing a “normal” car there is plenty of free parking on site outside of the grounds.
