The Spring Gippsland Drive
Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 October 2026
This year’s Weekend Away is a two day weekend drive around Gippsland, with dinner and accommodation at the RACV Resort Inverloch.
Departing from the BP Service Centre Princess Freeway Officer (Melways Map 214 C6) at 9.30 am Saturday, 17 October, we will travel to the RACV Resort Inverloch, via Korumburra (morning tea) and the iconic Kilcunda Pub (lunch).
Our route will take us east into the Gippsland Dairy country and then south to the coast at Daylston and then to Kilcunda.
After lunch will be a relatively short, but scenic drive to Inverloch.
Overnight we will stay in luxury rooms at the award winning RACV Resort Inverloch, where you can enjoy the resort facilities, go to the beach, wander around the beachside town of Inverloch, or find the bar.
On Sunday, after breakfast at the resort (and a leisurely departure time) we will head north to Yarragon for morning tea and the to The Five Aces Brewing Co. at Neerim South for lunch, again at your cost. After lunch we head back to Melbourne via Jindivick.
The emphasis during the drive will be great roads, great scenery and great company.
There is no entry fee for the weekend. It is all Pay as you Go. So you will:

Choose your own café for morning tea in Korumburra ( maybe Ned Kelly’s Bakery);

Order off the menu at the Kilcunda Pub;

Select and pay for your own room;

Order off the menu and pay for your own dinner and drinks at the resort;

Choose your own morning tea at one of the cafes in Yarragon and order lunch off the menu at the Five Aces Brewing Co. on Sunday.

The rooms are reserved under Australian Porsche 356 Register. Please book by phone and please advise the receptionist that you are part of our group. Please quote your RACV service membership number to receive a 25% discount on your accommodation. Or even better if you are an RACV Club member.
With you RACV members discount, a. ocean view room should cost you around $358.00 including a full breakfast per couple. There are also cheaper and more expensive rooms. A deposit will be required by the resort to secure your booking (unless you are an RACV club member).
